BIOGRAPHY

Nick Day has been professor of Epidemiology at the Medical Research Council, co-director of the Strangeways Research Laboratory, and the first Principal Investigator of the EPIC-Norfolk study, in England. Working with Sheila Bingham and colleagues, he contributed to develop the complex dietary assessment method for the EPIC project, a pioneering project that has demonstrated the role of nutrition, lifestyle, and hormones in the development of cancer.
