BIOGRAPHY

Born in Milan, Natale Cascinelli graduated in 1965 from the University of Milan in Medicine and Surgery and specialized in General Surgery in 1970.

He worked for the National Institute for the Study and Treatment of Tumors in Milan: first as an assistant, then as associate director of a division of Oncological Surgery, until reaching the position of scientific director for many years from 1998 to 2006.

Member of the National Oncology Commission of the Ministry of Health, he was also responsible for the Melanoma Program of the World Health Organization (WHO).
