BIOGRAPHY
Fabrice André began his career as an oncologist and scientist with a PhD in Paris in 2005, after completing his studies in Grenoble. He is currently Professor of Medicine at the University of Paris Saclay, Director of Research at Institut Gustave Roussy and of UMR 981 - Molecular Predictors and New Targets in Oncology at Inserm, Gustave Roussy and the University of Paris Sud, President of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) and a member of the Cancer Grand Challenge.
He is a renowned scientist in the field of precision oncology and one of the most cited French researchers in the world. Throughout his career, he has focused on the study and treatment of breast cancer and has contributed to the development of targeted therapies for this type of cancer. He has received numerous awards, including the Young Investigator and career awards from ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology) and the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) for his research in breast cancer.
